Rod Business credit Case Study update
hey guys, i wanted to post an update on my business credit so far. the companies that i have purchased from and paid are; quill, nebs, unline, grainger, and rapid forms. i also took the 449.00 plunge to dun and bradstreet, to help speed up the paydex process. instead of waiting for the companies to report, with this profile builder they will contact the companies for you and update your account within 24-48 business hours. i will post the results next week.. thanks guys

Hey Rod, good to hear you are so ambitious… But, have you contact these companies to confirm whether they actually report to DNB, Expr. and/or Exq?
Based on my first hand experience Nebs, Rapid Forms, which by the way are both one in the same company under “The Deluxe Company” and Quill DO NOT report to ANY credit bureaus.
Now, unless they have changed their practice in the last week or so, this is what their managers explained to me. As a matter of fact, I personally spoke with the senior manager for Quill, a well known company in the industry and he wanted me to provide their company with at least 6 months of “pre-paid” orders before they would even consider a “net 30.” He explained to me this was their policy. As for Nebs and Rapid Forms, which are actually one and the same company (but under diff. names)their senior account manager told me “twice,” after I mistakenly called Nebs, then Rapid Forms their company WILL NOT report any references or info. to DNB or otherwise!!
So, again, unless someone told you differently I would contact their credit management department to confirm. Also, after taking the plunge to pay DNB $499.00 you may not get everything you bargained for… If you only need 4-5 vendors/tradelines to post in order to advance to the next stage of applications, you would have been better off using some your funds buying product from these wholesale vendors to establish your PAYDEX score.
Well, this is only my nickel of info. …. However, please understand I am not in any way attempting to discourage you, but help you to succeed. To show you how much in support I am to see you succeed, if you email me at: jenkinsmhg@yahoo.com I will offer you any of the vendors I have personally made contact with who will “without question” provide you with a “net 30″ account (No PG/No Paydx score) and a specified credit limit. Shalom!!!

ok
if you use your funds to buy product it will take forever to show up on DnB
i know that from experience
the only reason i ever suggest to pay the 499 is to have things ggoing quickly
please advise from experience

also
there are a number of vendors who will tell you they do not report and they do
this is because 90% of the time you are talking to a sales agent and not someone in the credit department
now Bags and Bowes has stopped reporting
but the others still do
please..again…talk for your personal experience..
i have Rapid forms and others reporting on at least 10 of my companies
check credit boards and others….
they report..
bottom line
i pesonally have an account with quill and so do many other people
i am not sure what you are trying to do with all these comments but you simply are not clear as to what is going on
i have gotten denied by quill with some companies and approved with others
that could be your situation…
you re pretty new to this…there are many ways in and around this business credit game…..

I agree Mike, and by no means at all does Quill require you to prepay for six months, if anything its 90 days(THATS IT!) What I would suggest to wealth2009 is to stop contacting managers, it sounds like you are trying to make yourself seem more professional in the credit business. When actually you must not have too much knowledge at all. And the thing with the DNB (Credit Builder Plus) program is that you can actually choose up to 6 vendors yourself that you want reported(that program is $499, some sales rep will discount this if you call in. But you can actually get just creditbuilder program for $329 which the only difference is that you dont get to send DNB your 6 vendors payments history. But you can get you DUNS# quicker if you dont already have one, and it also builds your credit profile and assigns the basic DNB scores and ratings (so if the vendors do report it will show on your DNB report.)
