I learnt a new term today, “Pay to Play Vendors”
I was on one of the many message boards that I frequent when looking for new answers and new readers and a guy was asking if anyone knew any new Pay to Play vendors. From the name I knew what he meant but it was interesting how he used the term so simply, as if everyone uses it(i could be just left out).
Pay to Play vendors are vendors who over charge on their products in exchange for a hefty report on your credit file. They are very useful in my eyes because they greatly help with the business credit building process.
It seems like all vendors do that now, weather it be grainger or uline, thats how the game is played. But Pay to Play refers to the more obvious ones.
The ones that I know were also the only ones listed on the forum so far and this is exactly how they were listed:
Majestic Advertising – sells promo junk
Business Marketing Services – sells web design, and printing services
BitWave Design – Web services
Majestic and Business Marketing report a $5000 trade when you buy something from them and Bitwave reports $2500. MA and BMS report to DnB and Experian and BWD only reports to Experian but if you have the DnB credit builder, you can use them a s a reference.
